About the Role:
Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Supply Teaching Assistant to support a range of schools and nurseries across Darlington and the surrounding areas. This is a flexible role, ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with young children and are looking for either part-time or full-time opportunities.
As a Supply Teaching Assistant specialising in Early Years, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a variety of educational settings. Each day may bring a new environment, offering a rewarding and dynamic experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the learning and development of children in Early Years settings (EYFS)
- Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging activities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support where required
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
- Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and routines
- Support children’s social, emotional, and educational development
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting
- A patient, supportive and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential
