Vision for Education are seeking a dynamic and engaging teacher to work in a school in Chesterfield which specialises in the education of students who have been temporarily or permanently excluded form their mainstream school.
About the role
As a class teacher you will be required to plan and deliver lessons to national curriculum standards, complete all marking, attend staff meetings and potentially school parents evenings. You will also be required to mentor and guide the teaching assistant/s within the classroom.

The school covers KS1 to KS4 with some students being on part time, timetables between their mainstream school and other alternative provisions. Some children have EHCP’s for additional needs such as SEMH, ADHD and Autism. Requirements
- • Full UK QTS primary specialism or experience
- • A strong knowledge of general KS2 UK curriculum
- • Available full time on a long term basis from September 2022
- • Ability to commit to any necessary extra responsibilities such as staff meetings
- • Ideally you will have worked in a similar setting
- • Able to positively respond to behaviours that challenge
- • To help students adjust to their settings, recognize signs of distress and offer support
- Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is a minimum of 6 months relevant experience working with children, young people or adults.
