Sociology is a fascinating and popular subject which is why Vision for Education are looking to recruit a Teacher of Sociology to work in one of our Secondary Schools in the Gateshead Local Authority.

About the role

The role of Teacher of Sociology is a fantastic opportunity to use your subject knowledge to promote a fun and engaging learning environment to foster academic progress of the regions pupils. This position will require you to work across Key Stage 5 and bring your classroom management skills and engaging attitude to enthuse pupils. Full time and part time positions are available as well as day to day, short and long term positions.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teacher of Sociology (Key Stage 5) you will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team.
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.

Salary

£105 to £213 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
