Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Science to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in local secondary schools across the Manchester area.
About the role
The desired Teacher of Science will be supported by passionate management teams, and will work alongside some excellent practitioners, who put children at the heart of everything they do.
The desired Teacher must have a minimum of 2 weeks work experience within a Science department and be comfortable teaching across Biology, Chemistry and Physics at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). Requirements may include some Key Stage 5 (KS5) teaching however, support and planning will be given and this is not essential.
About the school
We work with most of the Secondary Schools and Sixth Form Colleges across Wigan, Salford, Manchester and further afield for those who may be happy to travel. Areas we also cover are Tameside, Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Bolton, East Lancashire, Warrington, Cheshire, Buxton, Trafford and Stockport.
Requirements
- Do you have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons?
- Are you flexible and adaptable?
- Do you have good behaviour management skills?
- Do you have experience teaching secondary education at KS3 and KS4?
- QTS or equivalent
