We are looking to recruit a Science teacher responsible for delivering Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics at Key Stage 3. The role will commence ASAP, however the School are able to wait for the right candidate to become available. The Role will run until the end of the Academic year.

About the role

We are looking to recruit Science Teachers on behalf of our client Secondary Schools based in York and a client School in Selby. The successful Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering Science lessons covering Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics across Key Stage 3 Only.

It is essential that you have prior experience teaching the Key Stage 3 curriculum across any examination boards and sector within the UK or British Curriculum in the last 2 years is preferable.

Situated in York City Centre, this Secondary School has excellent transportation links and a Secondary School based in Selby.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teacher of Science you will:
  • • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • • Have recent experience teaching Science
  • • Have excellent behaviour management

Salary

£750 to £1,100 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
