Vision for Education are seeking a part-time Teacher of Physics for our client school in Trafford.

About the role

As an outstanding classroom practitioner, with a drive to improve the life chances of young people through education, the successful applicant:

• Must be able to motivate, challenge and inspire pupils to succeed in Physics

• Must be committed to improving the outcomes for all pupils

• Will hold high expectations of themselves and pupils

• Will have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and improve practice in themselves and others

• Will be up to date with relevant pedagogy and apply this to their teaching

The successful applicant will be teaching across years 7 to 12.

About the school

Our client school is proud to have a strong curriculum and a highly committed team of teachers and support staff. Students display high levels of commitment to their learning. Behaviour for learning is good and disruption to lessons is minimal.

The role is to cover maternity leave from February 2025 and is part-time (4 days).

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teacher of Physics you will:

  • Hold a teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS/PGCE)
  • Be able to motivate, inspire and challenge students
  • Can provide suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Relevant experience
