Vision for Education are recruiting for an outstanding teacher of PE for a secondary school based near Blackpool to start September 2022 on a contract.

About the role

Vision for education are working with a secondary school based near Blackpool to help source a PE teacher for a maternity cover starting September 2022.

This role will be for the full 2022/23 academic year.

This will be a full time table teaching key stage 3 & 4 and have appropriate PPA cover to consider both ECT and experienced teachers.

This school based in Blackpool is part of a large Multi Academy Trust who have a strong presence within its local community.

It was last graded as 'Good' and has high standards and targets for its students to strive for. It expects the best provision for the children under its care and is led by an experienced Senior team who support their staff in all aspects of the job. The School offers excellent CPD and also provides a range of opportunities for progression within the role and the School.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teacher of PE you will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
  • Be adaptable and flexible
  • Have a flexible approach to work and be able to think on your feet
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
  • Have excellent classroom management skills

£26,948 to £38,174 per year

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Hold QTS
