About the role

Vision for education are working with a Secondary school in Preston that require a DT teacher from September 2022.

Ideally the school would like an experienced DT Teacher (Hard Tech/Engineering) but there will possibly be a requirement to cover some Key Stage 3 Textile/Food Technology lessons.

This will be a full tike role, however, the schools have expressed that they would consider 0.8 for the right candidate.

This is to cover a resignation and therefor has the opportunity to transfer to a permanent contract,

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teacher of Design Technology you will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
  • Be adaptable and flexible
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff

Salary

£125 to £189 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Hold QTS
