About the role
Vision for Education is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with an Art background to join our successful supply team and work in a local College.
Supporting pupils with additional needs on either a 1:1 or Small group basis, you will look to work with your pupil/pupil's who are on am Art course at the College. The successful applicant will need to have a passion for supporting people with special educational needs. This position is to work within the Art department, however on occasion you may be asked to work across different departments.

Vision for Education is looking to appoint an Art Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply team and work in a local College. We are supporting out client College who have several vacancies for April 2024. Their pupils require a 1:1 who are all doing am Art course. You’ll be supporting your pupil 3 days a week, 8.30 – 17.00.
All roles will be subject to permanent contracts with the College after 18 qualifying weeks via the agency.
You do not require previous experience working within schools, but must be able to demonstrate that you have worked with large groups of children in any previous role, such as sports coaching etc.
Requirements
- Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant - Art focus
- Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
