Vision are recruiting Sports Coaches to work in Pupil Referral Units across the North East. We are looking for people that have a passion for sports and coaching. This would be an ideal role for recent sports graduates.
About the role
Candidates will be working within Pupil referral Unit's to support young people that can struggle to regulate their own emotions. You would support young people in outdoor activities,sport and core subject lessons.
About the school
The school caters for young people that have been taken out of their manistream school. They place a big emphasis on sport and physcial activity as it is a fantasic outlet for children that can struggle to express their emotions.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Sports Coach to work in a Pupil Referral Unit you will:
- Experience or Qualifications in Sports Coaching
- The desire to positively impact the lives of young people that may have suffered trauma
- An outgoing and engaging personality
- The ability to remain calm in volatile situations
- Understand young people that can display aggressive or volatile behaviours
- Be available five days a week, Monday to Friday

Salary
£300 to £400 per week
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Relevant experience with young people or vulnerable adults
