Vision for Education is seeking Specialist Maths Teachers to support pupils of all ages to work in SEN settings.
About the role
Teaching in a supportive and friendly specialist school, alternative provision or in a residential setting, with children aged 5 to 16 who require additional support who have Attention Deficit, Hyperactivity Disorder, Social Emotional and Mental Health challenges.

The specialist schools, alternative provisions and residential care homes cater for students in with communication and interaction problems, learning difficulties, social or emotional issues. The schools offer brilliant facilities and resources, and the staff pride themselves on their child-centred approach which drives engagement with the students to achieve results. Most schools we work with have excellent public transport links, but access to a vehicle would be advantageous.
Requirements
- To be considered for the Specialist Maths Teacher for all ages role you must: • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Newly Qualified Teaching Status (NQT) • Hold a driving licence, which would be preferred, but not essential. • A DBS Certificate is an advantage but not essential, this can be arranged. • Confident de-escalating challenging situations. Training would be an advantage but not essential. Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children and young people. We take our responsibilities extremely seriously. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
