Vision for Education are currently looking for passionate and enthusiastic Special Needs Teaching Assistants to work with students with a diverse range of needs in special needs school across Oldham.

The role

  • You will work under the instruction and guidance of teaching staff to support the delivery of quality learning
  • You will be required to provide support for students on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and within the classroom
  • You will need to prepare and adapt materials suitable for pupils with learning difficulties to use in class

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Special Needs Teaching Assistant you will:
  • Have a desire to work and support young people with special educational needs and disabilities
  • Have a caring, positive, and flexible attitude
  • Understands the needs of students with learning difficulties
  • Be reliable in both attendance and punctuality

Salary

£350 to £400 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Have relevant experience or working with children and young people
