  • Encourage independence and build trusting relationships with pupils and staff

What we’re looking for

  • Previous experience supporting children with special needs, especially PMLD or autism

  • A positive and proactive attitude in a busy school environment

  • Confidence in managing a range of behaviours and support needs

  • Strong communication skills and a caring, team-focused mindset

  • Willingness to assist with personal care, with guidance and support from the team

Desirable skills and experience

  • PEG feeding training (not essential)

  • Experience working in a resource base or special school

What the school offers

  • A fast-paced but welcoming school that supports staff development and growth

  • A supportive leadership team and experienced colleagues

  • Regular CPD and training opportunities in SEND

  • Competitive daily pay between £88.92 and £101.92, paid weekly through PAYE

  • A clear path for career progression in a rewarding education setting
