Vision for Education are seeking to appoint a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEND TA) to work 1:1 and with small groups within a SEND School situated in Bristol.

About the role

This role will be full-time and is set to commence on 2nd September 2024. The successful candidate will be expected to work alongside the class teachers to provide outstanding support to pupils with diverse needs. The TA will be supporting them with all aspects of their learning, working with pupils in a variety of different year groups from EYFS-Upper Key Stage 2.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEND Teaching Assistant (SEND TA) you will:

  • • Hold a minimum of Level 2 Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
  • • Preferably have experience of supporting pupils with SEND.
  • • Have excellent behaviour management and set high expectations.
  • • Be able to confidently plan engaging activities at times.

Salary

£75 to £85 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Experience with individuals with SEND
