The School and Role
A vibrant, supportive and very highly regarded special needs school in Bridlington is seeking to appoint a full or part time SEND Tutor. This will be working with students in Primary, Secondary and post -16 with Autism and associated needs. Ability levels can vary considerably and a willingness to deliver more than one curriculum area is desired for the role of SEND Tutor. The school has a strong emphasis on life skills and employability as for most learners this is their last experience of education.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEND Tutor you will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Primary or Secondary

  • Experience working with children with a variety of SEND needs.

  • Have previous experience within a similar specialist setting or strong transferable experience from a mainstream setting.

  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of SEND Teachers and LSA’s

  • A passion for making a difference to the lives of young people.
