Vision for Education is looking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant / SEND TA to join our successful supply team and work in a friendly primary school in Bishopston, Bristol.

About the role

Starting from September 2022 you will be working as part of an established team in a large primary school in Bishopston, Bristol. You will be providing support and guidance to children with additional needs within the class. Previous experience supporting SEND children is ideal. This role will be part time, mornings only, 8.30am to 12.30pm.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEND Teaching Assistant you will:
  • Ideally hold a minimum of GCSE C or equivalent in English, Maths and Science.
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
  • Possess experience working with SEND ideally but not essential.

Salary

£68 to £75 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Hold at least 5 days experience working in schools or similar settings – or prepared to gain this on a volunteer basis.
