About the role
Vision for Education are looking to employ a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEND TA) to work 1:1 with a pupil in Year 3 at a mainstream Primary School in the Newcastle area. This role is set to commence in September 2022 until the end of the academic year. The working hours for this role would be 08:30-12:30, Monday-Friday.
The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting pupils with additional needs. They will be expected to work on a 1:1 basis, offering support to a child with ASC, supporting them with their daily routine and learning.

Requirements
- • Preferably have experience of supporting pupils with SEND.
- • Have excellent behaviour management and set high expectations.
- • Be able to confidently plan engaging activities at times.
- Childcare Level 2
