The School and Role

Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated SEND (Special educational needs and disabilities) Teaching Assistant to work with a School based in Mansfield. The successful candidate will support students with a range of special educational needs, ensuring they have the opportunity to reach their full potential in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

This role involves providing tailored support to students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The role of a Teaching Assistant requires a committed, empathetic, enthusiastic and resilient Teaching Assistant with great communication skills that has experience working within a diverse educational setting. You will be able to effectively adapt learning materials and work collaboratively with other members of staff to create an inclusive environment that guides the growth and development of all students.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.

- Understanding of SEND and the different types of learning difficulties.

- Patience, empathy and a positive attitude.

- An ability to work effectively as part of a team.
