Vision For Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant for a small, local school catering for the needs of SEND primary aged children. The vacancy is due to start after the Easter break.
About the role
This will be full-time, term-time position for the remainder of the academic year, with the opportunity to continue in the new academic year. The role is to work on a 1:1 basis with students working with their own personalised curriculum to meet their specific needs and to support them to thrive. You will promote high expectations of each child to ensure they reach their maximum potential. The role includes working collaboratively with staff members, families, and a range of other agencies to best support the pupils needs. Within the role you will be expected to provide personal care and hygiene to support children’s independence.

Requirements
- Ideally hold a relevant NVQ level 2 or equivalent
- Have some experience working with SEND
- Committed and passionate about supporting inclusive education
- Work well as a part of a team and be proactive
About Vision for Education
Salary
£70 to £80 per day
- Salary is dependent on experience.
