SEND Teaching Assistant (Full Time)

£420.00 - £450.00 per week

Start date: 14/10/2024– July 2025 (Flexible start date)

The School and Role

This School based in Chinley educates young people with SEND from ages 3 to 19 with severe and complex needs.

This role requires a highly motivated, adaptable, committed, enthusiastic and resilient Teaching Assistant with great communication skills and a proactive approach to supporting the Team Teacher. You will have experience working with young people with Special Educational Needs. You will work as part of a dedicated and committed team that have a child-centred approach in all they do.

Requirements

The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have;

- Experience of working with EYFS to 19 years aged young people

- Be flexible, adaptable and resilient

- Experience of working with pupils with SEND

- A passion for the progress pupils with SEND

- An ability to work as part of a team

For this role you must either be able to drive or have good public transport links
