Vision for Education are seeking to appoint a SEND teacher to work in a specialist provision for children with variations of SEND in Peterborough. This will be a full-time position starting in January 2024.

About the role

We are seeking a calm, nurturing SEND teacher to fulfil this position in a specialised provision in Peterborough. The person suitable for this role would need to be patient, creative and willing to face the rewarding challenges that this role provides. Good behaviour management skills and a naturally caring and patient nature is also key. The students have complex additional needs so you will need to be able to adapt to new situations efficiently and effectively whilst maintaining a positive outlook.

They have a thorough approach to treating every pupil as an individual through their flexible and holistic curriculum.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Maths Teacher-SEND you will:
  • Experience or knowledge of complex SEND
  • To be able to communicate effectively within a team
  • To be flexible resilient and patient
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Application for ECT's welcome
  • Have a DBS or be willing to process one with us
  • To have had experience working with children or young people in the last two years
