Vision for Education is seeking an experienced and passionate SEND Teacher with a strong background in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

About the role

Vision for Education is seeking an experienced and passionate SEND Teacher with a strong background in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The role involves working with children with ASD and potentially other needs.

This role is available on a part-time basis, for 5 days per week mornings only, starting in March 2025, with the potential to become permanent depending on the schools individual requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working in an SEN role, particularly with KS1 and KS2 children.
  • A compassionate and adaptable approach to working with children with diverse needs.
  • Ability to support and engage small groups and individuals in their learning and development.
  • A team player who works well alongside other staff to create a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing tailored support to children with SEN in both individual and group settings.
  • Good knowlegde of lesson planning and classroom management.
  • Helping children achieve their learning goals and overcome educational challenges.
  • Working collaboratively with a supportive team in a highly rewarding role.
