A Primary school in Wythenshawe is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to support children in their specialist SEN unit.

About the role

The role includes supporting children with various additional needs during the school day. This may include supporting the children with their school work, providing emotional care throughout the day and ensuring all children are able to reach the lesson objective.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
  • Have experience supporting children with various special educational needs.
  • Be patient and compassionate
  • Have excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Be hard-working and have a solid understanding of the National Curriculum

Salary

£10 to £10 per hour

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
