Vision for Education are looking to recruit an engaging and creative SEND Primary Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced or newly qualified SEND Primary Teacher.

About the role

This is an ongoing role, the schools are looking for an SEN Primary Teacher who is calm, professional and confident teaching within a specialist setting delivering the curriculum. Those with experience implementing EHC plans will be at an advantage. experience with Makaton, British Sign Language, and/or PECS would be an advantage.

The specialist school support children and young people with profound and complex learning difficulties/disabilities, sensory impairments, communication disorders and medical needs, They aim to provide high quality education and care and for children and young people, and to support their families, The School has excellent ties to the local community which creates an excellent environment to work in.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEN Primary Teacher you will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status QTS or QTLS.
  • Be dedicated and supportive, an excellent communicator and passionate about working with students with SEN.
  • Providing an inclusive, vibrant environment and deliver inspiring lessons.
  • Teaching in small class groups and with a high ratio of LSA support.
  • Have experience of teaching children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Salary

£100 to £125 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Have relevant experience of working with children, young people and SEND needs.
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status QTS or QTLS
