About the role
Are you an SEN Secondary Teacher with either the experience or desire to work with pupils with moderate, severe and complex needs? A fantastic teaching role is available to start in September 2022.
- The SEN Secondary Teacher role will involve teaching small classes of pupils aged 11-16 with a wide range of Learning Difficulties.
- Every student at the school has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and additional needs around their health, social and emotional wellbeing.
- The ideal teacher will develop a stimulating and challenging environment within the teaching area.
- The school are looking for individuals who can promote pupils’ interest and learning using a cross curricular approach, with prior experience in teaching mainstream or SEN secondary students.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN Secondary Teacher you will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) in a specific subject area.
- Demonstrate the ability for planning, preparing and delivering appropriate lessons and individual education programmes.
- Be dedicated and supportive, an excellent communicator and passionate about working with students with SEND.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) in a specific subject area.
