Vision for Education Teesside are urgently seeking behaviour specialist teaching assistants to work at our client Secondary schools throughout the Hartlepool area, supporting pupils displaying challenging behaviour.

About the role

Once cleared for work you will have the option to take on longer term roles in individual schools, or chose day to day supply cover which could see you working at different schools each week. Both of these roles require a flexible and resilient attitude. As a behaviour support assistant you will likely be working with a specific child with whom you will develop and maintain an effective and supportive relationship, promoting emotional wellbeing and identifying triggers. You will provide academic support, recording progress and reporting to the teacher.

You will work in a range of schools within Hartlepool.


To be considered for the role of Secondary School Teaching Assistant you will:
  • A minimum of 5 days experience working with children

£65 to £70 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
