Vision for Education are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school to appoint a dynamic and dedicated Teacher of Science to join their thriving team from September 2025.


About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students of all abilities. This is a full-time position, initially until December 2025, with potential to extend through to July 2026.

As a skilled classroom practitioner, you will:

  • Demonstrate a passion for Science and a commitment to pupil progress

  • Motivate, challenge, and inspire learners to achieve their full potential

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Be reflective in your practice and open to continuous professional development

  • Hold high expectations of yourself and your students

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Science Teacher, you will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Be passionate about delivering high-quality Science education

  • Be able to engage students through exciting and relevant lessons

  • Be committed to improving outcomes for all students

  • Have strong classroom management skills and a positive, professional attitude

  • Be able to provide suitable references, a valid Enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service), and have the Right to Work in the UK
