About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in various branches of science, inspiring students to explore, question, and discover. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative environment, making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners. The desired teacher will be required to plan and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the national curriculum, catering to the diverse needs and abilities of students. They will need to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to participate and excel.Utilize innovative teaching strategies and resources to enhance student learning and understanding of scientific concepts. The teacher will need to assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support growth and development. Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning within the science department. Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities as required.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Science Teacher you will:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science, with the ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
  • Dedication to promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.

Salary

£30,000 to £46,525 per year

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
