Vision for Education are recruiting for School Led Tutors starting in Grimsby on a full time and part time basis starting in September 2022.

About the role

The School-Led Tutoring Programme has been designed to help students close the gaps in their learning due to Covid-19. Schools are able to claim funding to run small, targeted, sessions for pupils in need of additional support. The tutor will be working with children in groups of up to 6 pupils and all tutoring will be delivered face-to-face in the school.

We are already receiving enquiries for September, and we would be keen to speak to teachers, tutors and learning support workers with experience in the following subjects:

  • Maths, English and Science from EYFS to Year 6
  • SATS (Year 2 and Year 6)
  • Experience with students with SEMH needs

About the school

Vision for Education work with a number of different specialist schools in and around the Grimsby area. These schools range from maintained to academies, small village schools to large inner city schools, mixed classes to 3 form entry. An understanding of learning disabilities, You will visit a variety of schools to fit with your experience and expertise. Requirements

To be considered for the role of School Led Tutoring you will:
  • Experience working with Primary aged children between 4-11 years old
  • Experience Teaching or Tutoring (1 year ideally)
  • Have experience with SEMH students
  • Hold QTS
  • Hold or be willing to pay for an enhanced DBS check.

Salary

£120 to £140 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • A minimum of one years experience.
  • Experience with students that can exhibit challenging behaviour
