Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a Primary Teacher to start a School Led Tutoring role in Barnsley.?

About the role

You will be required to work 5 days a week 9:00-3:00 working with groups of 6 children each hour providing catch up support. You will be required to work with year groups from Year 1 to Year 6 and help to support English and Maths. Before the role starts, you will meet with the class teachers to see which groups require support in each area and then you will be responsible to plan activities around this. The role is due to start in September and the school are entitled to 25 weeks of funding.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of School Led Tutor you will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching primary education at all levels
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary teachers
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons

Salary

£25 to £28 per hour

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
