About the role
Have you got a background working in Residential Support? Are you looking to take your experience into a classroom setting?
Vision for Education are currently recruiting for Residential Support Workers to support young people in special educational needs schools in Manchester. This role is to start in September 2022 and is full-time.
The role
- You will be required to support young people in the classroom who have a range of special educational needs and disabilities
- You will need to work closely with individual students providing 1:1 support under the guidance of the class teacher
- We are looking for those who are resilient to work with a range of needs and can bring a supportive and nurturing approach

- Each setting aims to provide the very best support for their students to assist their learning to have the best possible outcomes
- Class sizes will vary and will also range in age groups
- There are opportunities for the role to become permanent with the school after a qualifying period
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Residential Support Worker you will:
- Have a positive, caring and nurturing personality
- Be passionate about working with student with additional needs

Salary
£350 to £400 per week
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Have relevant experience of working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
