Have you got a background working in Residential Support? Vision for Education are currently recruiting for Residential Support Workers to support young people in Bristol.

About the role

For the role of a Residential Support Worker, you will be supporting young people who have both learning and physical difficulties within the classroom. You will be required to work closely with individual students under the guidance of the class teacher, helping them to achieve their daily learning goals. You will need to be resilient to work with challenging behaviours as well as have a nurturing and supportive approach to your practice.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Residential Support Worker you will:
  • Have a minimum of 6 weeks relevant experience
  • Be passionate about working with students with additional learning needs
  • Have a positive, professional and person–centred approach
  • Have a positive, caring and nurturing personality

Salary

£11 to £17 per hour

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Have a minimum of 6 weeks relevant experience
