2-form Primary School in Leeds (LS18)

Vision for Education are seeking an outstanding practitioner to teach Reception at a wonderful 2-form primary school in Leeds (LS18). The school are looking to hire a Reception Teacher who is enthusiastic, positive, hard-working, flexible and a conscientious person. The successful applicant will have ideally passed their ECT induction and have experience of teacing in a reception class. The role is due to begin on 5th Jan on a full time basis provisionally until Easter 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and effective lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where all children can thrive.

  • Assess, track, and evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback and personalised support to promote individual development.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the holistic growth and well-being of every child.

  • Contribute to school life by participating in events, meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.

Requirements:

The ideal Reception Teacher will have;

  • QTS (ESSENTIAL)
  • Previous EYFS experience
  • Experience working in UK Schools
