We are looking for a qualified teacher who is trained in working with the visually impaired to work part time in a pupils home, planning lessons and communicating these with the HLTA. Salary based on Teachers rates.
About the role
The teacher suitable for this role would be in charge of creating a suitable curriculum for the student and having video conferences with the HLTA's and the Lincolnshire working together team. They would be creating content and activates for the HLTA's to deliver within the classroom. This role would be working 1-2 days a week with a 3pm finish, and they would be supported by the family and the Working together team.
About the school
The student works from home where a school environment has been built in the garden. However the teacher would be able to work from home to plan the curriculum and would then need to organise video conferences with the HLTA’s who will be delivering the content and the Lincoln Working Together Team. The student himself, is 10 years old and has been blind since birth. He holds a EHCP and is also non verbal, autistic, has pathological demand avoidance and ataxic gait.
