Vision for Education is looking to appoint a Primary Teaching Assistant / Primary TA to join our successful supply team and work in a friendly primary school based in Avonmouth, Bristol.
About the role
Starting from September 2022 you will be working as part of an established team in a large primary school in Avonmouth, Bath. You will be providing support and guidance to children with SEND and additional needs within the class. Previous experience supporting SEND children is not essential but a willingness to learn and develop is essential. This role will be part time, three days a week.

This is a large Primary school based in Avonmouth, Bristol. The school is a large Primary school with a wide catchment and resource centre.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Primary Teaching Assistant you will:
- Ideally hold a minimum of GCSE C or equivalent in English, Maths and Science
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
- Possess experience working with SEND ideally but not essential.
- Available three days a week – School is flexible on days.

Salary
£68 to £75 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Hold at least 5 days experience working in schools or similar settings – or prepared to gain this on a volunteer basis.
