Vision for Education is looking to appoint a Primary Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply team and work in a friendly primary school in Bristol.
About the role
Starting from April 2022 you will be working as part of a dynamic and creative team in a primary school. You will be providing 1:1 and general support in Early Years and Key Stage One / KS1. Previous experience supporting SEND children is ideal. This role will be full time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm and some lunchtime duties will be needed.

This is a large Primary school in Bristol, where staff go above and beyond to provide outstanding education to young children from Nursery to Year 6.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Primary Teaching Assistant - Key Stage One you will:
- Ideally hold a minimum of GCSE C or equivalent in English, Maths and Science.
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
- Be experienced in covering lessons in the absence of a teacher.
- Possess experience working with SEND ideally but not essential.

Salary
£60 to £75 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Hold at least 5 days experience working in schools or similar settings – or prepared to gain this on a volunteer basis
