Primary Supply Teacher – Tameside | EYFS, KS1 & KS2

Location: Tameside Area
Pay: £600–£800 per week (Long-Term Roles Paid to Scale)

Vision for Education is actively recruiting a dedicated and adaptable Primary Supply Teacher to work across Tameside primary schools. This Supply Teacher role offers flexible daily supply, short-term cover, and long-term teaching opportunities across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

If you are a qualified Primary Teacher, Supply Teacher, or ECT (Early Career Teacher) looking for flexible teaching work in Tameside, this is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent supply work with the potential to progress into a long-term or permanent teaching position.


The Opportunity – Primary Supply Teacher in Tameside

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.

  • Adapt confidently to different classrooms and year groups.

  • Follow school policies and maintain strong behaviour management.

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff.

We receive regular bookings for Primary Supply Teachers in Tameside, with many daily supply roles developing into long-term teaching roles or permanent Primary Teacher positions.


Who We’re Looking For

To be considered for this Primary Supply Teacher role, you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE with QTS.

  • Have recent experience teaching within EYFS, KS1, or KS2.

  • Be flexible, reliable, and confident in new school environments.

  • Have strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • Be an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher.

This role is ideal for:

  • ECTs seeking experience in different Primary Schools.

  • Experienced Primary Teachers looking for flexible work-life balance.

  • Teachers seeking a long-term Primary Teaching role in Tameside.

  • Teachers returning to the profession via Supply Teaching.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
