About the role
Vision for Education have an exciting part-time teaching opportunity for a newly qualified or experience Year 5 Teacher (YR5) to join a local primary school in Lincoln, starting as soon as possible. This position will be a job share 3 days per week, Wednesday-Friday and joint planning responsibilities.
About the role
The desired Year 5 Teacher (YR5) will be confident with delivery and planning of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and be able to effectively communicate with the other Year 5 Teacher and phase leader with regards to pupil progress and the topics covered. You will be working alongside a very experienced Year 5 Teacher and so this role would suit an equally experienced teacher, or a newly qualified teacher (ECT) as full support will be given. The successful candidate will be expected to teach all core and foundation subjects and have good behaviour management skills, acting in line with the schools’ policies, procedures, values and ethos. Requirements
To be considered for the role of Year 5 Teacher (YR5) you will:
- Have experience teaching Upper Key Stage Two (KS2)
- Have a genuine passion for education and learning
- Be willing to pay for an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service.
- Have knowledge of behaviour management strategies and the ability to implement them consistently to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Familiarity with and commitment to the teaching standards and professional code of conduct.
- Be flexible and adaptable to work in different classrooms or with different students as required. Demonstrate the ability to adjust teaching approaches and strategies to meet individual student needs.
