Vision for Education are looking for an experienced Primary Teaching Assistant to support in the Year 2 class of an autism base in a local Primary School.

About the role

We are looking for a Primary Support Assistant with extensive experience of working with young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is a full time role, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4pm each day and the successful candidate will be in place for the full academic year until July 2023.

About the school

Part of a local Primary school, the Base caters for students with autism and other Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. The school day for students in the Base begins at 9.05am and ends at 3.05pm.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Primary SEND Support Assistant (Year 2, ASC Base) - Jarrow you will:
  • Experience of supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

Salary

£350 to £400 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Experience supporting young people with autism and other Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
