Vision for Education are looking to appoint a Tutor to work within primary schools in Durham. This role is a part-time position, commencing in September 2022 until July 2023, working between the hours of 09:00-15:00.

About the role

The Tutor will be carrying out the School-led Tutoring Programme within school, working on a 1:3 basis with different year groups. The tutor will be expected to focus primarily on Literacy and Mathematics and improving pupils understanding of core concepts, whilst giving the pupils the additional support they need. Previous experience of teaching in a primary school is essential for this role. We can be flexible with days you wish to work.

The Primary Schools using this scheme will be around Durham and Bishop Auckland.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Primary School Tutor you will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) within the UK
  • Be able to offer tailored support and differentiated activities
  • Be able to confidently plan and deliver learning independently

Salary

£26 to £28 per hour

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • QTS within the UK.
