Vision for Education are looking for a part time Teaching Assistant to work in a busy, thriving Primary School in Cambridge.

About the role

One of our partner schools is looking to recruit a part time Teaching Assistant to work on both a general and 1:1 basis with children with additional needs. It will be a mix of working with them in class and some time out of the classroom. The role is a temporary role, but there is often potential to stay on longer term or to apply for roles the school have advertised permanently.

About the school

The school is a lovely and busy city school on the east side of Cambridge and is part of Cambridgeshire local authority. The school is two form entry, with two of each class and nice class sizes of 27 or under. It has a long standing staff team and there is a very supportive and collaborative approach to everything they do.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Part time Teaching Assistant you will:
  • Have some experience of working with children with SEND
  • Have some experience or working in a school or similar setting in the last 3 years (6 months minimum)
  • Hold a TA Qualification (desirable but not essential)

Salary

£75 to £80 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
