We are currently recruiting for a part-time teaching assistant to work at a school in Kirklees. The position is to start as soon as possible, on a part-time basis, flexible on days.

About the role

Vision for Education are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work at a school in the Kirklees area. This is a part-time role, with some flexibility on days, ideal for an experienced or newly qualified Teaching Assistant looking for their next opportunity. To start as soon as possible, this position has the potential to be made permanent for the right candidate.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be a passionate and proactive individual, capable of building good relationships with pupils and staff. Working in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, you will have a good understanding of the curriculum and be able to work with the class teacher to deliver sessions in a small group session. This is a great time to join us and become part of our committed teaching team.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Part-Time Teaching Assistant you will:
  • Have previous experience working with young people
  • Have a high level of literacy and numeracy
  • Have a flexible approach to work and be able to think on your feet
  • Be confident and have a positive approach that engages students in their learning
  • Have excellent classroom management skills

Salary

£60 to £70 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Previous experience supporting in a school setting
