Vision for Education are seeking passionate and reliable Nursery Assistants to support a range of nurseries across Stafford (ST16) and surrounding areas including Baswich, Wildwood, and Castlefields. Whether you’re looking for full-time hours or a few days a week, we have immediate opportunities available.


About the Role

As a Nursery Assistant, you will:

  • Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, helping to create a safe and engaging environment for children aged 0–5
  • Assist with play-based learning, both indoors and outdoors
  • Work closely with permanent staff to support children’s development, wellbeing, and routines
  • Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents

This role offers flexibility, with day-to-day, short-term, and potential long-term opportunities available.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will:

  • Have experience working with children in a nursery, school, or similar setting
  • Ideally hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (Level 2 and experienced candidates also considered)
  • Be confident supporting children’s learning and development
  • Have a DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Be able to provide two recent references
