Vision for Education are looking for a Mental Health Support Worker to work in a school setting in Manchester supporting young people and children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

About the role

  • You will be required to inspire, motivate, and support each pupil
  • You will support pupils in lessons to minimise behavioural disruptions and to provide the pastoral support that is required to help them achieve their set targets
  • You will need to be positive, compassionate, and caring
  • Encouraging the students Social and Emotional development

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Mental Health Support Worker you will:
  • Have experience of working with those with social, emotional or mental health needs
  • Caring, supportive and nurturing personality

Salary

£325 to £375 per week

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Have a minimum of 6 weeks relevant experience of working with children or young people
