Vision for Education are currently looking to recruit English tutors to work with students on a 1:1 online or small group face basis with students across KS3 and KS4. There are full time and part time roles available.

About the role

To deliver targeted catch up and intervention tuition to students most affected by the current Pandemic. You will be working alongside schools SLT and Middle management to produce paced and progressive small group or 1:1 intervention tuition based on a current scheme of work across English.

About the school

The school is a warm and welcoming South Yorkshire Academy based on the outskirts of the town of Barnsley. The school aim to support their students not just academically, but also their aspirations, you will be working with students on a small group face to face, or online 1:1 capacity delivering pre-set content which will require adaptation and differentiation from the desired tutor as you assess the capabilities of your pupils throughout the block of sessions.

To be considered for the role of Maths Tutor you will:

Salary

£20 to £28 per hour

Qualified Teacher Status in a Secondary English Literature or Language specialists
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Qualified Teacher Status in Secondary English
