Mainstream Behaviour Teaching Assistant
Are you someone who is passionate about supporting students in overcoming challenges and reaching their full potential? We are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join our mainstream primary team. As a Behaviour teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in providing guidance and assistance to students facing behavioural difficulties.
Responsibilities:
- Support students in managing their behaviour and emotions effectively
- Develop and implement individualised behaviour plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive environment
- Provide mentorship and guidance to help students make positive choices
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with behavioural needs
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy
- Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
- Understanding of behaviour management strategies
