Learning Support Assistants required for an FE college based in Lincoln starting in September 2022, part time supporting students aged 16 - 18
About the role
The Learning Support Assistant will be required to support a range of students in their chosen course and assisting with GCSE English and Maths resits. The Learning Support Assistant role will include a mixture of full classroom support and one-to-one support depending on the need of the students at the time.
About the school
The specialist school provide education to students looking at getting into more vocational work including agricultutre, dog grooming, animal husbandry and hospitality. They work within a nurturing environment offering academic and social opportunities with the aim to build self-esteem.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will:
- Have experience working with individuals aged 11 - 18
- Have previous industry experience
- Able to commit to 3 days per week on a permanent basis
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Recent experience supporting individuals with additional needs of any age
