We are seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant / LSA / Learning Support Assistant for a school in Portishead. You will be responsible for supporting the teaching and learning process.
About the role
This is an urgent position, and the school are looking for someone to start asap. You will be supporting the class of children but will also have responsibility for supporting a child who also has mobility issues. The role is within a Year 3 class, Monday to Friday, 08:30-16:00.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will:
- 3 months experience in a school, care, or youth club setting supporting children or young adults
- Ideally have experience of working with individuals who have a combination of learning, social, emotional or behavioural needs
- Be able to work 8:30 – 16:00, Monday to Friday
- Have an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to process one with us

Salary
£65 to £75 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- 3 months experience in a school, care, or youth club setting supporting children or young adults
