We are looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant on behalf of specialist settings based in Crawley for various roles starting immediately.

About the role

The Learning Support Assistant role would suit a candidate who is an excellent role model with a calm demeanour and positive mindset. The Learning Support Assistant will be required to support students with varied and complex needs in the classroom aged between 5 – 18, depending on your preference and also supporting the class teacher by preparing classrooms and materials and building positive relationships with pupils to promote interaction and learning.

This would be a great opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant starting their career or equally a Learning Support Assistant looking for a new challenge.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will:
  • Ideally have experience within a SEND environment but this isn’t essential
  • Have experience working with children aged between 5 -18
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.

Salary

£65 to £85 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Recent experience supporting students aged between 5 – 19 either in mainstream or a specialist setting.
