The Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join this dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to education and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to support students with varying abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education.
  • Engage with parents and guardians to foster a supportive home-school partnership.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience supporting children within a school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
  • Experience working with students who have special educational needs or behavioural challenges.
  • Knowledge of restorative practices and a commitment to creating a restorative educational environment.
